What boots do you wear for day to day riding?

I'm embarrassed to admit it's usually very faded pink hunters - so pale now they look like long-length autopsy boots.

In my defence I bought them ironically rather than as an homage to KP. And Hunters gave a % of the profits to Breast Cancer. Honest. (can you tell how embarrassed I am?!)

In the summer I wear muckers. No half-chaps as I don't own any.

I'm very not cool I know.

However!!! In deepest winter I wear almost respectable Mountain High Rimfrost Riders.

So please tell me there's a little hope....

Toggi Calgarys until spring I reckon.
Then short boots for round the yard and chaps or gaiters when I ride.

Mountain horse sports joddie boots and suede chaps that I have no idea where they came from i've had em that long!

Mountain horse long leather boots. I love them. they are completely wrecked - scruffed fadded leather etc - but so comfy, warm, fairly water proof, ok in mud.

Konigs Komet brown work boots, which have totally spoiled me and I can't ride in my old ariat chaps anymore!

Long leather boots for me, i have always liked long boots, cant get on with short boots and chaps

In the winter my ariat Glaciers - love them. Summer my ariat cobalts and chaps.

Always long leather boots! My ankle is much stabler in them. I could never ride in anything else.

Same for me, find the long boots much warmer and waterproof for winter riding

I love long boots, but am trying to make my Ariat Challenge last as long as possible, so they're now reserved for shows.

Everyday: Ariat Monaco short boots + Musto Innovation chaps in summer, Calore fluffy-lined boots + same chaps for winter. Just breaking in the winter boots; I love toasty-warm toes!

I will get shot one of these days as I ride, fetch in from the field (bear in mind I live on a working dairy farm) etc in my Ariat Grasmeres.

I really should respect them, and their cost, a bit more. They are my every day riding boot.

Bromonts for schooling and MH Active Fusions for hacking - my MH Sportives and High Calibers are now too big to the piont of falling off my feet when riding!

I have Caldene show boots for showing, but I so love the Bromonts! Yet a year ago I couldn't get a pair near my legs let alone do them up!
