What brand clothing survived todays rain?

Does anyone else wear holes in the inside of the knees of their over trousers? Within weeks?
Maybe I have fat knees, but it puts me off buying any expensive ones.

Berghaus over trousers have never let me down. I used to wear them over long johns.

Mr StR has been out loading all day, he was wearing Harkila Goretex tweed breaks, a Deerhunter jacket, and Meindl high leg walking boots. He particularly likes the breeks as they still look good with the tweed outer.

Barbour jacket on top with only a tshirt underneath as I was boiling (Initially thought it was too cold for the Ariat coat) with Rambo chaps & Grubs Highline wellies on the bottom.
Lovely & dry.

Equidry with primary thermal fleece Lined leggings, I’m off to buy seven pairs wasn’t cold or wet couldn’t believe it sadly I have gained weight and can’t fasten my waterproof jodphurs couldn’t believe it so tried them and was pleasantly surprised

I have one of these too & it's absolutely ace. Especially when it's too warm to wear my waxed coat.
I have two now! I bought the first years ago then saw they were on offer at Hope Valley last Christmas so had a second off my mum. They are my go for working in to as I get really warm in anything thicker so mine are worn to death!

My Ardmoor raincoat, bought for £30 in a sale is superb.

Has a warm lining but no filling, but I can comfortably fit a fleece jacket or gilet underneath.

My cotswold wellies have been fab too.....at least until one of the ponies landed on my foot this week and broke my big toe! Will have to invest in some muckboots i think.

My current yard coats are fairly ancient, the newest one I remember having when I was pregnant (I remember putting it on and not being able to do it up) and my youngest is 18 now.

I recently looked at some riding coats in Mole and noticed all the zips were really weedy, they won't last me five minutes.

My most recent coat is a Sherwood made for shooting. It's very warm, has loads of good pockets and all the features you need for riding like a two way heavy duty zip and it kept me dry walking round town yesterday.

While I got soaked, my uni friend in Rohan overtrousers was dry, so I bought myself a Rohan light mac for summer walking on rainy days. It rolls up in ones rucksack. This is not a riding mac.

Cheap as chips hi viz jacket from Onestopcopshop. Had it a couple of yearsnow, very handy detachable lining. Bone dry, toasty warm, and totally un-missable! :)

I got a grade B because they only had my size in B, but it was immaculate

My primark dryrobe - £45 = MASSIVE tick!
My Equidry - £££ = tick
Mountain Warehouse Isodry waterproof trousers & coat = ££ = Big tick

The above are all super waterproof but of varying prices, I honestly can't believe how waterproof the Primark dry robe is, it's on it's second winter and used every day, it's mega

Toggi arctic waterproof breeches and a Musto riding coat.

Neither have let me down in even the worst weather and both are over 3 years old and well worn.

Neither are available to buy new anymore 😭

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. My Reincoat Air let me down badly on Thursday during a dog walk. Shoulders and arms were soaking and I had to change my clothes. It's the first real test it has had and I wasn't happy. I left a review stating it had leaked badly which led to the company contacting me to suggest I reproof it! Considering I have only had it since April and it has barely seen any rain I'm not impressed.

My Berghaus over trousers were great, my legs were bone dry.
