Just to fill in a boring Sat afternoon before I have to go and start afternoon yard..what do you think of this boy?

I'm useless at these things but he does look a bit on the older side. Well, he does in the first picture.
The thing that stands out for me is how long his toes are in front .... that isn't meant to be rude, just an observation.
I have a fixation with feet as my boy grows very long toes in the space of 5 weeks ... very annoying!!
 
i think hes poss over 20, he looks croup high in the sacri' department, he has quite long flat feet or mayb is just the pic, has a swelling on his hock( poss age related) back at the knee, has a nice head and neck and shoulder is he warmblood of some type he has a brand???
 
My first thought was thoroughbred or Standardbred until i read Dutch Warmblood and thought he does look a bit that way.
On first looking i thought aged. But looking closer i guess 12-15 haveing had a bad life.
Reminds me of an EPSM horse with its condition. Looks like it has been worked hard all its life on a high cereal diet with no care taken for muscles.
Looks like he needs some rest (for mind) and tlc before putting a diet for muscles and working correctly.
I cannot believe i have said all that. I hope he is not your horse you have had years.

I think the brand on his hindquarters is either oldenburg or dutch warmblood (but I'm probably wrong!) He looks about 23.
 
Hes called' Phar Lap', 27 years old Oldenburger, ex Sjr, had wicked laminitis from high cereal diet and locked in his box 24/24 for God knows how long (before coming to me

). Hes got capped hocks, bog spavin-you name it, he's got it

. He's dropped in weight this year but Ive managed to get some back on thanks to a very well known British balancer which has just come on the market here..thank goodness for Mr D and Mr H
