What a lovely pony :D How tall? looks about 14.2 ish?

I love the second photo :D

As to breed, lots of Welsh in him I should think :)

ETA - just seen post above about height ;)

Gosh I thought I had found a thread about our pony! He looks just like my daughter's first pony Jacob. We dont have a passport either so guessed he was Welsh Dx. He is 20 years old now and still full of fun. In his youth (before we owned him) he was a JC. I have his BJSA record I would love to find out more about him. He's called Agent J when competing. Although my daughter is now on horses, sadly 14.2 didnt last long with her legs. We still own him and the young girl who has him loves him to bits.

Aww he is gorgeous, very similar to my old boy! Although he would be a around 28 now if he is still with us. He was just shy of JC when I sold him, when I got him he wouldn't jump coloured poles, and fillers were an absoloute no no! But I kept on working with him (didn't even have many lessons, as my parents said they were paying enough already!) and in the end I had affliated him and he was jumping so well! I was very proud of him. :) He was also an incredibly spooky pony, couldn't pin a rosette on him easily and he wasn't keen on things around his head in general. Bags and flaping things were a nightmare. But again he learned to trust me and we had a great bond.

So if he's black he must be a section D - is that what you're saying?

so this pony must be a D too?

No of course not, just that it is common in welsh ponies and rare in NFs and TBs. That coupled with a welshy head is what makes me think welsh is all
