I think he's about 17.3hh and a rare breed from France from what I remember, completely forgot now and it's bugging me

ETS: he did have feathers but he had mites so they clipped them, also his head is the size of me, huge!!

Nope, me neither. However, maybe she/he is talking about the reduction in the use of Heavy Breeds in working and therefore a drop in numbers, however, they are not rare

Looks like a percheron to me , i'm sure the french use them as police horses , although 17.3hh seems a little high for the breed as they are really draught horses , but i could be wrong , ( and usually am ) it's really typical breed colour though , that lovely dapple grey Mmmm.

Hmm I keep thinking it's that breed with the P at the start (I can't pronounce it let alone spell it ) but she was asked if he would do a talk/demo at a country show because he was 'special'. Also I looked it up and the P-breed are only recorded up to 16.2hh? Might be wrong but hey
