That said I think it is probably a PRE or Luso. Just chucked Spanish Arab x in because the Luso or PRE would be a bit predictable.

Well I googled andalucian and that looked possible too!!!

Oh, slightly off topic but I think I saw these people do a v good jousting display including a black horse with a docked/damaged/otherwise surprisingly short tail at Blenheim a little while back. Was a lovely looking animal and I wondered what its story was so if anyone knows them I'd be curious...

IMO the nose isn't roman enough for a Lipizzaner; think its an andalusian, rather than a luso, although the ears don't seem to be as curved as they should be. It just 'looks' more like a PRE, than a luso. IMO

Cant go for Lippi, possibly a cross with Andalusian though. All horses look fantastic ,loved the two greys in harness,(bet they are Irish

this is purano aka peewee one of the most famous horses gerard has owned. he sadly died 3 yrs ago but was a grand age of 26 and had appeared in a lot of films and made many actors/actresses look great. he was a 15.3h andalucian stallion but stood more like 16.3hh when the word action was shouted!!!!he had a neck like a bull and an attitude to match with all the look at me qualities but with the heartof gold.
he is sadly missed at the stables
