What breed would you say he is?

Hiya,
I often get asked what breed Jasper is, and I don't really know what to say (other than "very hairy cob"!!). Any ideas as to his breeding?

I would say traditional (gypsy) cob which is a type not a breed.

I'm not even going to guess a breed but will agree he looks like he might have some welsh running through him...but...PRETTY PONY

What a lovely chap, and stunning colour - no idea on breed though, the legs look shire, but head welsh cob........

I HATE when owners leave feather on horses legs....you are a prime example of what REAL feather looks like! You have proper thick and long feather that I love, those cobs with just wispy and straggly bits - aghhhh!!!

Also sorry no help with the breeding side of things....but wow he is a real beauty!

I would go with a bit of Welshie or perhaps a bit of one of the draft horses. He has the ears and flared nostrils of a horse with some Arab. Which both Welshies and Ardennes have. Overall I would say what an ugly horse and he should be disposed of immediately, as a favour I would be willing to take him off your hands Absolutely gorgeous, what a beautiful face.

He's not normally this clean, It took 4 hours of scrubbing! I could be heard muttering things like "WHY did I choose a hairy horse?" and "Sooooo much bl**dy hair!" etc etc, but it's well worth it when it's done, I love to see those feathers flying!
