I have no history of my horse before I got him, he was brought as a project which I could part from.
He's 14.3hh, I have had loads of suggestions just wondered what you think.

Thats interesting, as never had anyone suggest that before. But can see what you mean.
I've had, dalex, irish pony, welsh x.
My vet reckons he has some shetland in him as he is has a very stubborn streak. His coat is like a shetland if left to grow.

I was thinking welsh x with something like tb or sports horse, but now you say NF i think that more likely. My friend thought connie x?? Def NATIVE X THOUGH :-D

Thank you. No I wouldnt sell him. He has been 4years of extreme hard work. Didnt know how to do anything expect hack. Its only been the last year I can get him to a show and finish a test or course. He was very nasty when I got him, couldn't groom, rug or get in the stable with him.
Now he has good and bad days but he trust me. Hates any new people. Strangly likes men more than women.

haha my newforest filly has a stubborn streak! And her coat goes so fluffy in the winter!

He looks like he has nice paces! He's a nice boy altogether!

This is my NF filly, don't know if it's just me or you can see a slight comparison with the face?

Good for you!!! Glad you persevered!!!!! Looks liek it has paid off! What was originally wrong or was he just not schooled/handled well previously! Likes men, hehe tart ;)

TBS-He was chucked out in a herd and the girl who owned him didnt handle him as was to scard. I had to re-school from scratch at 10. He has just got away with walking over people, give him a inch he will take a mile.
To ride he wasnt naughtly or nasty. Hes never chucked me off but he refuses to move as if he doesnt understand. Its still not easy but worth it all when he goes well.
I can not take him out with another horse from the yard as he gets over protective and tries attacking other horses which go near his friend.
On the ground he is the easiest to do as long as you have a head collar on him.

Yes I can see it in the face, be interesting when she grows up if she has the same build.

Was thinking tbx when I first saw the pics, but after reading the first 2 post think they could be right with the nfx lines. One thing is for sure though he is a very hansomne fellow what ever his breed.
