What bridle sizes are your 3 y/o?

I have realised this evening that my well grown rising 3 y/o ID/TB is verging on an x full size bridle!

She has a pretty face and is not out of proportion, but I would love to know how others compare.

Is at all made to measure bridles from here on?

I have a full size for my 2 year old, so next year he may well be in an x-full! lol, though there is still a fair amount of adjustment in it, I usually find it's the noseband that comes up small, everything else tends to fit better.

Mine is in an extra full, verging on larger! Her head is the biggest I think i've seen on a horse of her size - she's only just 15.2hh!!!

16.1 and full size but shes a little compact sportshorse so her heads not too big, its on one hole from the top on the bit.

Nits wears a cob sized bridle right up near the top hole. But she is a TB I guess.

Have to admit I am ultra fussy when it comes to headpiece/browband and ear room. The F/s is definitely a little snug for my liking!

appologies, im not going to be much help either! my 3yo PBW is in a cob sixe with everything on the second to top whole so alot of room in it!

Well my 20 mth old id x cob is on last holes of a cob and the nose band never fitted in the first place!
Also she is in a 5.5 inch rubber bit already is this big for her age? Wot size bits do your. idx's adults have?

Depends how big her gob is! It won't go by age although will probably need a bigger one as you go.

My 9 y/o ISH had a 5 3/4" and that allowed room for bit rubbers.
