My boy has been wolfing down his fast fibre but apparently it may have been because I was adding a couple of handfuls of Saracen Shape up as I had a bag left over to use up.

I want to go on feeding the fast fibre as I add in some Naf D tox and garlic.
I don't want to use chaff or alfalfa and I want to stay away from molasses.
He is in light work is 15.3 8 year old cob type a very good doer.
He is out for about 5 hours a day and has hay/haylage in his hotel room.
I slice up an apple but the little monkey picks that out.

I can swap from fast fibre maybe but I have just opened a new bag.

Thank you guys. Call me paranoid but I once gave a previous horse Alfalfa and he went nuts. Gave Charlie his breakfast with some very thinly sliced apple and a handful of his besties 16 plus he loved it so I will look into a bag of some sort of chop.

He doesnt need bucket feed as I said but has a supplement (gets massive grass glands).

I add dried ground rosehip to it, for my horse's feet and joints - he's been a lami risk last year. He likes the taste too. I also add Mollichaff calmer - it's very low in molasses and no alfalfa. Mine won't touch alfalfa. While he's been off the grass he's been getting a handful of hi fibre cubes to stop him losing any more weight.

I add chopped oat straw for Sally and Dengie sugar free for the little pony.
Sally gets hyper on alfalfa and molasses affects her with her sweet itch hence the 'boring' oat straw, but she seems to like it ok.

I am feeding FF to one of mine, more as a filler trype of feed, to provide her vits and mins she has some Saracen Shape Up added, doesn't seem to be an issue.

Alfa sends mine loopy but handful of HiFi Lite and Speedibeet are fine.
