Crap week, feeling guilty as horse has likely been struggling on for a while but is too genuine to show it. But - I have my weekend job back after lockdown! So, what can I buy for a horse with too many rugs, who demolishes stable toys and god knows when he’ll be ridden again. Anything at all, doesn’t have to be useful, just has to cheer me up and make me feel like I’m spoiling him! Under £100 ideally but if something’s really nice I can save ?

Haas brushes? Back massage from a horse physio?
I have been soooo tempted by haas brushes, are they really good? As for physio - the amount this horse has had in the last two months he should be feeling on top of the world! It’s been two weeks since his sedated physio treatment, he’s got another xmas time but until the hinds are sorted it’ll keep recurring.
His very own Shetland or two
Ahhh this is what I need! No worries about whether I’ll be able to ride the horse again, just cute fluffiness being cute and fluffy!

Okay so far I’ve got a haas brush, a big horslyx (he LOVES the respiratory one even though it’s disgusting) and a Lemieux grooming mit. He already has four nice headcollars and got a leather micklem one for his birthday so that’s probably, possibly enough for now. Someone tell me he doesn’t need the new weatherbeeta burgundy sherpa lined fleece as well...
Ooh and if anyone wants to find a nice plain wooden backed brush that would be amazing. I want to paint a picture of him on it, I’ve got acrylics and varnish and can, if I focus, paint reasonably well.

What about one of those massage mitts? The equilibrium ones. Obviously the big pads look great too but are much more expensive! I don’t have one but I always think they’d be a great thing to have!

One of the comfortzone rugs? They look lush!
They’re in my Xmas list for both my dogs!
Oh my... they’re absolutely gorgeous. If he ends up on box rest for a while I may buy that as his day rug. Never seen them before but wow!

I have recently got a kids rake which my horse adores. I go all over his body with it and he sighs and drops his head, he loves it
Bless his heart I don’t think I could get that anywhere near him!! This is a horse who’s terrified of height sticks, long whips and for some reason tick removers. ?‍♀️ He’s an odd one
