Back at the end of november my old saddle wasn't fitting ollie anymore So i bought a new one of a saddler I was reccomended my a friend (his name is Alex mccracken). Well anyway after 5 rides in new saddle my horse was going worse than he was before and it rubbed 2 crcular bald patches on his back. Now im no expert in saddlery but I know that it didnt fit.
So for the past 5 weeks (!!!) either me or my mum have been ringing him at least once a day (sometimes twice) and out of that many calls I have managed to get him on the phone once and had one text from him..both timessaying he would call me back and I have got no phone call from. I know he hasnt got the wrong number as he has obviously texted me on the number and i leave it for him everytime I ring.
Ollie can start hacking out now but i obviously cant ride him without a saddle..what do i do?
I dont want to give up and go to another saddler as i know i wont get the full amount i paid for that saddle and i REALLY cannot pay anymore.
Is there like a register or association of saddlers that I can complain to?
Has anyone else had bad experiences with Alex mccracken?
Any help is appreciated as i just want to get this sorted once and for all.
