What can I feed?

For controlled energy/sparkle? - 15.1 MW cob 10yo, in at night, out in the day on reasonable grazing, ad lib hay at night, has a round scoop of pure alfalfa twice daily but no other hard feed, weighs 525kgs, generally a lazy lump, but can sometimes flip and start bolting for no reason. Oh and is generally molasses intolerant

soaked whole oats would be my first suggestion, i've never had one go nutty on them.
or, i'd ring Baileys advice line and get their suggestions. most of the big feed companies will give advice freely.

My cobby is alot like that and i feed her hifi and country cubes with garlic and when she's on naughty mode she has calmer.

I have a v v lazy ponio - have tried feeding Baileys Comp mix and now trying Tiger Oats. Both seem to have woken him up a bit, but have made him a bit spooky haha. Spillers Response is meant to be good for lazies..
