Apart from the some kind of hoof boots, I can see the following:-

A suspicious looking dog turd

Your shadow

A pair of ghostly eyes in the stable

:D:D:D

HaHA!! they arnt eyes! That is the light shinging through the top of the roof ;-) although i do agree they look like eyes!!!

booty things is correct!! They are hoof boots!! People think they are big clumpy ugly horrible things so i thought i would post this just to show that isnt the case and how many of you would actually spot them :-)

They don't look big and clumpy to me, they look pretty good actually for hoof boots considering I've never actually seen a horse wearing any (apart from on the websites where they sell them etc), what make are they?

Are those hoof boots for riding in? They look so sleek! I have been loath to try hoof boots because they are so big and clunky.

My tb is barefoot because he has navicular and cannot hold a shoe! but as he is a dainty little creature, hoof boots are to big and clumpy for him and look unsightly but theses are amazing!! I have a closer photo of them i will put up.

Have just come to this thread and was going to say a pair of gloves but then I got to the bottom to post and you already said!!

I was chatting to a lady at an event the other month and she had some of these on her horse. Looked very similar but were in red.

She said she had done a 4 hour ride over Dartmoor in them and horsey was fine, no chaffing or anything.

Definately worth investing in a set / pair.

I have got a full set for tb and they are great. They are expensive, well more expensive than other hoof boots. they are about £120 for a pair. But they last for upto to something like 500 miles!! depending on terrain. People do endurance in them so i would have thought that would wear them quickly. I am very pleased with them so far! keeps the farrier bills down! my mare only wears front shoes and a trim behind and tb is trimmed so much cheaper than what i was paying! remedial shoeing for him was £95 every seven weeks!!!

I have Gloves too :) Although mine is wearing Old Macs at the moment due to hoof shape changes from lammi, but once his feet are back to their normal shape he'll be back to his easyboots. Love hoof boots and can't see me going back to shoes any time soon.

Mine are barefooted too but the Arab horse is footy and like your dainty. I was concerned I was going to have to shoe her but these look great!

I'm sorry to have to tell you this china...but....I think your lovely orange horse may be about to be stolen. Is that a wind plait in his mane I spy? :p ;)

(I'm joking, in case anyone doesn't know about the urban myth :p :D)

They look great!

How easy are they to get on and off? And how are you finding them grip-wise? :D

J&C

grip wise i cant comment, i have not hacked out in them yet as he is only just back in work after a year off. They are easy to get on and off but i have found a technique to getting them on. they are easy to get off but need abit of a tug if fitted correctly. He wore them all day today on his fronts as he is in the gravel and was abit sore so i popped them on for abit of relief for him and they didnt move at all all day!
