Bit of a lighthearted thread and maybe to provide a bit of inspiration for my Christmas list!

For me my top 5 would be:
Musto thermal jods (on there 5th year now!)
Schimmel Brush (gets an amazing shine!)
Some thermal workman boots for the yard not horsey so no hefty price tag but keep my feet toasty
Seal skinz gloves (can take ice out the trough and hands are still warm!)
Shires rugs (lightweights to heavy, turnouts and stable rugs, good value and very robust)

How about you?

My Brogini yard boots, all fluffy and toasty warm
Rambo/ horsewear rugs - i just have the one heavy weight and its brilliant i just layer under if necessary and it keeps her toasty and dry in all weather
 
Ariat grassmeres. Seal skinz gripper gloves. New bedazzled lights for stables (fantastic). My hay supplier, who never lets me down. And last but not least my wonderful husband who keeps all water butts clean and full, even if no rain. More needed in winter as during the summer when horses are out we have a natural spring in the field.
 
Head torch
Nice thick coat (love my Rydale one)
Mountain warehouse waterproof trousers - why did I not use these before!!!
Electric fence beeper to tell me it's on and working
Simple systems feeds - a godsend for a hungry dieting pony
Bin bags - for transporting hay in my car without spreading hay everywhere.

And finally a good sense of humour and my wits as my boy can be a right git in winter.

I've not cried yet this winter, there were tears last year 😢😢😢
 
Socks. Lots of warm socks. If I don't get new pairs in my stocking at Xmas I will have a huff. My feet freeze around November & don't thaw again until sometime in April.
 
Horses's winter tyres - ie: snow rims and borium studs on shoes :)

Ski pants.

Water tank heater, even my dogs and cats have heated water bowls :D

My furnace room to dry wet, iced up clothes, boots and blankets :)
 
Ariat wellies plus fleecey wellie warmers
Thermal gloves of some variety
Kipwarm jods (swear I should've discovered these years go)
Headtorch
Reflective rug / headcollar for finding pony in dark field
Tea x lots!
 
Musto chaps - every winter I thank my husband for buying them for me 10 years ago. Warm AND waterproof.
Equitector boots - keep my feet warm and dry, and protect them from my large elephant's careless feet.
Gloves - as many different types as possible, plus disposable latex ones to go over the top to keep them dry.
Being under cover in an American barn type of set up. Dry even when it is throwing it down.
My Camelback metal thermos flask with a drinking lip. Hot coffee and it will survive being knocked over by said elephant.
 
Help my two grooms make it bearable .
Gloves lots of them .
Knee length socks .
And I wish I could say my complex of two large field shelters and hardstanding with rolling pit but sadly it remains a dream .
 
Got to say that I'm not sure how I previously survived winters without being at the little place where the horses are now! I actually enjoy going to see the horses now!

Last year I was very poorly with pneumonia for much of the winter and I couldn't have survived without my cheap fleece onesie from George at ASDA. Yes, I looked like a complete pratt but it kept me warm, clean and dry with a coat over the top.
 
Decent jackets for me and the ponies, ad lib hay in the field, and my wonderful horse who is sensible even if I only manage to sit on him once a week!

Me:
Fleece neck tube/gaiter
Mountain horse base layer sets that I've had for years
Musto snug jodphurs
Musto softshell breeches
Le Chameau wellies
Mark Todd winter riding gloves
Thermos travel mug - for a hot drink whilst mucking out in the morning

Horse:
Mark Todd Hi-viz exercise sheet
Horseware Rhino turnout rug with liners
Cactus mit - great for removing mud from clipped faces/ears
Pig oil and sulphur - to prevent mud fever and cracked heels
 
Frost and lots of it but not too harsh it keeps the wet ground in cleaner condition and makes keeping a white pony easier I hate seeing her go out on hacks dirty
Mine live out so for me my woof boots they keep my feet warm and cosy and are cheap to replace.
I wear lots of layers so fleeces and warm t shirts
Horses have very little requirements apart from their foggage grazing and feed
