My 14 year old Hotpoint washing machine is on its last legs - not due to abuse...I've never washed anything horsey in it bigger than a saddle cloth / snuggy's hood / travel boots.
I am researching replacements & wondered what capacity of machine I'd need to be able to wash a zero fill turnout? It' gets v pongy & I'd love to be able to wash it frequently. Would a 10kg machine be big enough? That seems to be the biggest capacity machine available at a 'normal' price as after that, the prices seem to jump steeply.
PS *DON'T* tell o/h of what I'm planning for the new purchase or I'll be in trouble... He thinks it's to save money by having the machine on only half as often as it will have twice the capacity...
Suggestions for super sturdy machines welcomed!
