What car do you drive?

OH and I share our cars depending on who's doing what. 'My' car is a Discovery3 7-seater, fantastic for towing but very greedy so not used much as a runabout. Massive boot space holds 4 bales of hay but picking hayseeds out of the natty velour upholstery is not a fun pastime. 'OH's' car is a mid-range Ford Mondeo, about 45 mpg, and great as a 'family' car.

Like Hussar, Hubby and I share depending on who is doing what.

I drive a Golf cabriolet. Not flash at 11 years old but still looking good and I love it in summer. Not great for carrying things unless the roof is down, although dont get much chance of that in the great British weather.

OH drives a Pajero LWB. Great for towing and carrying feed etc. A real workhorse and I do enjoy driving it but it drinks the diesel.

Used to have a disco not enough guts now have an isuzi 3.1 TDI brilliant fits everything and the kitchen sink in

VW polo haha too small to fit anything in (well i got 2 bales of shavings and 2 small bales of haylage in the other day) but i got it when i was 18 as a birthday present and am very greatful as i couldnt afford one if not, what with having a horse and everything!

A ford KA called Matilda, she's fantastic, very cost effective. Tiny boot but with the back seats down you can fit more stuff in and if you put the front passenger seat right forward you can squeeze a couple of sacks of food down there.

I've got a Disco TD5 and love it, it does exactly what is says on the tin, however, at the moment it resembles a mobile skip

it is mingingly dirty, even I think it stinks and has more shoes, jeans, jumpers, knickers, socks and goodness knows what else than my wardrobe!! I really need to clean it out, may take it to the polskys on Friday and get them to do it!!! Obviously I'll take the knickers out first (they are clean I hasten to add!)

Disco again. Very practical - lots of load space. Costs a fortune in diesel - more like gallons to the mile than miles to the gallon - but is very reliable and I like the driving position. Worst point is the dreadful turning circle. Our 7.5t lorry is easier to park...

I've got a Citroen C2, fits all my saddle/ tack in and one bale of shavings/ a few bags of feed but try wrestling in two bales and your stuffed!!

You can fit about 4 in but it takes a lot of huffing and puffing as the seats have a life of their own

Mini convertible - great fun, can get a couple of bags of feed in the boot and a small bale of haylage on the back seat (need to drop the roof to get it in)

3.5t Renault Master Van conversion (more mpg than mini). Use this to go and fetch bedding.

An audi TT and i love it

ETA it is a 4x4 so you could in theory tow a trailer with it. Boot is quite spacious. Back seats are only suitable for people under 3'0

I love my yellow car and I always wanted one. I have a bright yellow SEAT Ibiza and its lovely, it could just do with a bit more umph, but then I'd never afford the petrol so I shouldn't moan. Plus it has a huge boot for a little car.

A bright yellow Renault Megane Cabriolet sport

Not hugely practical but I have had a bag of carrots, a bag of cool mix, a bag of Hi Fi lite and a bottle of oil in the boot as well as my usual bottle of radiator water and tool kit
grin.gif

Can also fit £165 worth of groceries in the boot as I found out last week

Only thing I have not been able to fit in it was a lathe we bought for my son in the summer, had to take the roof down and put it on the back seat and then put the roof back up lol!
