What car to tow trailer?

I am due to change my vauxhall corsa just before summer (it is 4 years old). I am lucky enough to have inherited an ifor williams trailer from a lady who no longer needs it. Not sure what model think it is a hunter one, it is large enough for 2 17hh horses so not a light trailer.
I am wondering what car would be best to tow this trailer. obviously land rovers are best but wondered if anyone has any other suggestions?

fall into the £235 tax bracket not £435 can tow up to 2800kg and i think that is the gross weight of the larger ifor or its 2700 cant remember.

Good on fuel can be swtiched from 2 wheel to drive to 4 wheel drive to save fuel when not towing

Very large inside you will fit a lot of stuff in

it will depend on weight of trailer, weight of cargo (horses) to what can tow it legally.
once you know what the combined weight of your trailer & cargo is then you can look at cars/4x4's that are able to tow safely & legally.

I'll back that up!! Simply brilliant! They have the highest legal tow weight you'll find (3.5t), so reliable, v comfy to ride in and tows like there isn't anything there. Really fab.

Thanks the izuzu seems popular so far. my dad had one a while ago but i wasnt old enough to drive it then way to much to insure me!! But i did always find it comfy. Thanks for the info guys i am very interested to hear what people prefer I want my horsey to be safe after all!! And my pocket to not be totally empty of money!!
