Just interested what equine charity people would donate to and why? My university are picking a charity for our event and would like to know what charities people consider worth making money for?

Not horse as such but air ambulance as sadly they would get called to a lot of incidents.

Greatwood are fantastic, they both rescue, retrain and rehome ex racers but also work with disadvantaged children or children with special needs. They are a smaller charity and it really is a case of every penny helps.

st johns ambulance-not horsey but do their bit at plenty of horse events and air ambulance, again not directly horsey but invaluable to horse riders.
EMW would be my only other choice.

In the first instance I would have a look at charities local to you.
It would be nice if it was somewhere that you could actually visit and see where your money was going, maybe somewhere that people could actually go and help at too.
