I'm stuck on what clippers to buy. The more I read the more confused I get! I need a quiet set capable of doing a hairy cob and two miniature horses.
Any advice please?!

how much are you looking at spending?
ive got a pair of heiniger cordless clippers and a pair of wolseley swift clippers. both cope well clipping hairies but they retail at £300+ i think now

I recommend Listers! I bought years ago the Lister Neon, which were 'then' the quieter ones on the market! I think they have brought out an updated and even quieter version of them.

I would have thought up to £250.. Everyone seems to say Heineger, but as long as they're quick and fast I'm not worried! Thanks

I brought some walh avalon cordless clippers for £175 and they are great perfectly capable of doing a full clip and really quiet and light too

Lister Star (£210). Can't remember where from but I will look it up if you want.
Fully clipped two sports ponies and a very thick coated hairy Forester easily.

I've just got some Lister Stars which came with a (free) pair of Legato clippers, bag, oil, etc for £240 ish. Only used once so far but seemed great!
