Sorry, I'm sure this question must have been asked dozens of times already but I broke my Lister Neon's this morning. Having sworn lots, had a minor temper tantrum & jumped up & down a few times I have now decided to buy some more - and quickly! My poor horse has 1 1/2 clipped legs & his body half clipped on both sides so is looking rather silly

I really don't want another pair of Listers as these have spent more time back at the factory being repaired than actually clipping

Anyone got any really good experiences of any particular clippers? I usually do 10-15 full clips per winter so they need to be fairly heavy duty but not too heavy weight as I'm a wimp

Heiniger Progress. I have clipped 5 horses this winter, so have probably done about 12 clips in the last 4mnths. They are brilliant, quiet, relatively powerful and lwt

I have Hauptners (2 pairs) one pair I have had for 8 years and the other pair I brought as a back up last year. I like them as you can get extra fine blades which clip really close and mean I don't have to clip as many times over the winter.
