What colour do you have on your dark bay?

Best colour of what? Tack, numnah, boots, rugs?

Mine has brown tack, maroon saddlecloth, black boots and different colours of rugs (whatever was cheapest )

Dark Brown for tack, saddle cloths same as above really, Brown or White. I think traditional neutral colours or clean white looks smartest. I do have a couple of colour rugs though. Navy or red, they look nice. But I always stick to neutrals for tack etc.

Rugs = whatever's on sale!

Saddlecloths, bandages etc: Yellow with Navy trim or powder blue with navy trim suits him best. I also have pink, dark green, maroon, black and white bandages too.

Kelly has a brown numnah with brown tack, generally black boots (but she also has a set of red brushing boots :D), purple overreach boots. She has a fab hot pink neon headcollar with a bright purple leadrope. Her waterproof t/o rugs are 1) dark red and beige 2) dark grey with a red trimming, she has 2 stable rugs one red, one blue white and red, and a pink and purple fleece.
Bit of a mix up, but she suits bright colours! (but is a very mucky horse so needs dark turnout!)

I am a traditionalist and have black or brown numnahs for daily use and white for hunting. Any boots I use are usually black.

If you want and like to be a traditionalist then please stick to black or brown numnahs for hunting aswell - Keep those nice white ones for the dressage and showjumping arena

As for colours on a bay - I used a burnt orange for my deep dark bay dressage boy - but
cream cloth for the arena to match my cream breeches. I just do not have the legs/bum for white breeches !!

have several bay liveries and we all have different colours

Miss A has lime green - wasn't too sure at first buy is just so different it does look good

Mrs DE -has electric blue - A bit overboard if rider dressed in matching jacket with saddle cloth, exercise sheet and bandages.

Mrs G has bright pillar box red - does look classy as rider and horse both have very long legs !!

Miss H had yellow - but now has swapped to black - I think yellow too bright on a sunday after a saturdat night !! lol

Mrs E has a set of turquioise which I think may have been blue at some point but has sat the test of time

What with me with my orange - when we get together in the school we do resemble a bunch of jelly beans bouncing around !

Navy. Not very exciting but his eventing boots and my body protector were navy and it looks cordinated with out trying to hard.
Though if someone can find me teal eventing boots....
