What colour does your horse wear?

Anything I've got, but if I have a choice, either dark green or black. I'm a bit of a boring old traditionalist so the most lively numnah we have is black with purple binding but it was given to me many years ago for my old horse.

I'm really not keen on navy or brown but black, grey or bottle green are all fine. Quite sure B doesn't care as long as he can chew it...

I love a bit of matchy matchy .
My horses have different colours for different times of year and I like a bit of variety .
J is rose grey , burgundy looks great on him as does sky blue he has a snappy pale green and brown with grey binding that looks nice .
J looks nice in grey with me in grey and black .
My new horse is chestnut he looks good in Brown , Forrest green and I fancy some orange for him ( with me toned in black ) .
And of course you can't beat the LBS ( little black saddlecloth ) always a classic and so slimming .

how long have you got................!

i think sis and i have got about 60 matchy sets (pad and bandages) and about 20 pairs of over reach boots between us in every colour from neon green through to metallic beige!!!!!

theres 2 stackable towers about 4'6 high and 1 about 6 foot high, FULL of bandages, and 6 boxes and a set of shelves for all the pads.........

its an obsession lol!

Both mine are bay they mainly wear black and brown for hacking and brown for shows they do have blingy browbands for showing in navy and gold and I also have a burgundy and gold one apart from that the most colourful thing we have is newmarket exercise fleece:)

I saw a lovely deep purple gp high wither numnah the other day, I don't usually do lots of colour but this was really nice. It would have looked lovely on my bright bay, but I resigned myself to the fact that black is more sensible and I can use it out and about.

Therefore my horses wardrobe consists of very natural (boring) colours of black, white or brown!

Mines dark bay so for everyday use his dressage pad is navy and GP is burgandy.

Competing: Obvsiously white for dressage and he wears a Navy one for SJ/XC

All rugs are a shade of blue mainly dark blue/navy same for travel boots and tail bandages..... i like blue!! Plus my xc colours are navy and silver!!

PINK :) my horse is blue and white/grey tobiano, occasionally wears turquoise, mainly pink though.

HA HA, so's mine and I'd love to put him in cerise but I just cannot do that to him, he's already being called Samantha by one of the instructor's because he's so pretty LOL

GREEN! Hunter green, grass green, lime green, fluorescent green... I really like green!

And orange. Also have lots of orange... am also partial to a bit of Eskadron Capri, but just because it's so beautiful. Doesn't fit into our usual theme, but I made an exception lol.

VERY excited for the latest Eskadron collection... you can probably guess what colours they're doing this season lol

Hahahaa, bless him!! I don't think if I had gelding I could put him in pink :p wouldn't hurt him though.. :D

When my daughter was younger she had her bay gelding in pink, she had her TB mare in purple and her TB gelding in blue or green but this has gone by the wayside over the years.

My own mare seems to have had a purple theme going on too (based on the equipment she came with) but on the odd occasion we have been somewhere we've tended to go for more muted colours such as black or navy.

Mine is sporting lovely yellow/brown stables staines which I always think are his main colours no matter what I put him in..... Grumble grumble lol

Colour coding by horse = extremely useful for remembering whose things are whose.

However, less useful when your headcollars get lost and all your spares are blue...oops!

With rugs whatever is cheapest/on offer/in a sale! Do draw the line at totally ridiculous colours though! Try & choose saddlecloth colours that do vaguely go with the horse though. Boots are always black, couldn't be bothered with trying to keep white boots pristine.

Deltaflyer I may have used photoshop in the past to try different colours on a pic of my horse ;)

For everyday anything goes saddlecloth wise (pink, green, turquoise, yellow, bright blue, royal etc), but I have black boots for hacking, grey for schooling and brown for jumping!
My last horse was dark bay and looked great in any colour new girl is bright bay and I used an orange caveson the other day and I definitely won't be getting an orange saddlecloth unless "clashy clashy" comes into fashion!

Shows white for dr and either white or navy for SJ

Rugs are whatever they come in except show rugs which tend to be navy
