Seeing as my anxiety has forced me to become stressed about the littlest things... can someone tell me (before I lose my mind from worry) what colour you wear/is appropriate? I have beige breeches as I have done very little competing but after deciding I quite enjoyed my first dressage test (and so did my horse) I am going to take the risk of getting white breeches.

Do you wear white gloves to match or are black ok? I think I would prefer dark gloves as they would be more forgiving (in case my nerves kick in and my hands start shaking again)

This is so trivial..

The BD rule book states that gloves are to be worn but it doesn't specify what colour (I think it did use to say they had to be white but the rule changed). Personally I wear gloves that match the colour of my jacket. They are currently black, but I have recently bought myself some navy ones with the aim of treating myself to a matching made to measure jacket!

Good luck and enjoy!

For dressage you always wear white gloves.

The BD rule book says gloves MUST be worn but the colour is up to you (as long as it's sensible).
Used to have to be a light colour but that has changed since.

Yup, just checked the rule book and rule 49 simply says "Gloves are to be worn"
(iPad refuses to copy it otherwise I would have put it here)
