What colour hat for showing?

Further to my post below, would my son be better off with a navy or black hat for showing? I have to change the hat or the body protector. He will probably do lead rein classes and possibly mountain and moorland. Thanks

Navy and flesh harness too if funds will allow.

I would say navy
But I think if its for a little boy black would suit
If you can afford it flesh harness' look very nice

QR I thought it was black for boys, navy for girls. I know that's right for adults but not 100% certain for children.
