I have a orange equisafety exercise sheet, Fluorescent orange headcollar for Rose want to find some orange boots aswell.

I wear a yellow 'polite' tabard and have orange chaps in winter. Want an orange coat though!

I seem to have gained a thing for all stuff orange!

I do believe though that on a bright day orange would be the best seen. And numerous people have commented on how well and far they can see us!

Well isn't he just the snuggliest handsome thing? :)
I met a haffie at the Trec championships last weekend and her eyes were the biggest, dreamiest ones I have ever seen. Hadn't met one in person before.

I think he'll look gorgeous in pink!x

Handsome horse!

I have always used yellow hi viz as this is what stands out best against a dark background. I know there's some debate but it's accepted at sea, the sea being a pretty dark background most of the time! I thought since most of my hacking is against a backdrop of hedges, and the times when you're least visible is under trees and so on, the yellow makes most sense.

On my Haffie girlie I wear pink Rockfish sleeveless jacket in summer and in winter when Im wearing a coat underneath (Cairngorms!) I wear a yellow tabard with reflective strips (the pink jacket wont fit over my coat).

Both look nice, thankfully we dont have masses of traffic up here and drivers are generally ok as they are used to tractors trundling out of turnings. Also dont have to do very much roadwork but I still always wear something as I would like to be spotted if Madame Haffie Liesel decides to deposit me in a ditch. She doesnt make a habit of it but the one time she did it (long story involving baler twine and a new white fluffy girth cover) was in our own fields and was the one time I didnt bother with the hi viz - wont make that mistake again!7

I dont think the colour matters too much as long as you always wear some hi viz, altho I understand green is def not as visible as the other colours so would avoid that.

Sometimes yellow is not very visible against trees and hedges, especially when theres dappled summer sunlight.

Capriole -that's true - but I don't think there's one particular colour which is most visible in all conditions, if that makes sense. It's an ongoing debate in the diving/seagoing community so I've stuck with the argument that yellow is most useful for most conditions. Anyway I have reinforced my visibility by buying a white legged piebald :)

Thats why I mix it up with a bit of this and a bit of that, in the hope at least one bit of me is glowing in an obnoxious bright shade, if the others arent. :)
