What colour horse would you prefer to own?

Its funny - nearly every post has a favorite colour but its not the colour you ended up with. Happened to us too. Daughter went to see a grey ISH type and bought a dark bay Anglo - Arab. Wouldn't swap him for the world though. Guess when it comes to horses theres no stopping love at first sight!

Yep, Dun is a gorgeous colour. My first pony was dun and I loved it. summer/winter coat looked really different too.

Current horse is technically brown but looks black. Love his colour as he's so easy to keep clean and get a nice shine on!

Greys all the way for me. Have only ever owned one non-grey horse and he's the almost but not quite black one in my signature (and I love his colour, but still can't help myself falling for greys!)

Well I voted blacks as they are so smart, but having a dun has opened my eyes...They are so practical! They show no dirt

Well, I own a Chestnut, Black and a Piebald- I've always loved black horses as I love their shiny coats and I've always had a soft spot for chestnuts too!

I really like dapple grey horses and also grey Andalusians with charcoal grey manes and tails- but I bet they're a nightmare to keep clean!

Or as a second choice a grey, preferably with darker points, or a well marked tri-coloured, or maybe a bright bay with a white star.

Having owned horses of more or less every colour, I'm really prejudiced about colours!! I could write a long list but I don't want to offend everyone here The only colours that would put me off buying are grey (too hard to clean) or coloured (I don't know why, possibly because I have a bit of a cob aversion... Don't ask ) But to be honest, if the horse was perfect in every other way, colour wouldn't mean a thing...
