What colour horses have you had/got?

Have had 1 chestnut and 1 bay ( however he did have 4 white socks, a white mouse shape down his left thigh and a small white patch which was both sides of his neck so he had a white area in his mane).
I have 1 skewbald and 1 bay (whose dad was a leopard spot, so he has one black spot on his side just behind his saddle).

When I was a kid, bay and chestnut. As an adult, bay, chestnut, one grey, a gorgeous spotty who went from minimal blanket spot to heading for leopard, and lots of coloureds including my current lovely boy who is seal bay and white and a couple of blagdons, aka heavily expressed sabino. I had a gorgeous traditonal that was all intents and purposes pink, but genetically was bay with sabino :)

When I was growing up coloureds werent common or popular like that are now. Out of all of them I think I like the spotty and the current one the best. The spotty changed dramatically which was fun to watch but my current boy is such a lovely rich colour I think he probably wins :)

Ive had two bays, currently have a buckskin tobiano and a palomino. I love dilutes but firmly believe a good horse is never a bad colour although a grey would be my last choice..

First and second were grey (and still the best horses i've had) then a chestnut, then a brown, then black. Currently have dunalino, buckskin, black, blood bay + foal which i believe will be blood bay too and piebald!

Ist share was a white grey (think she'd been dappled once as there were the remains of dapples just visible on her legs.

2nd share was a lovely light dun with very black point. Stunning boy.

1st owned - chestnut mare with four white socks/stocking and a white blaze - very flashy (arabxwelshD)

2nd owned - dark bay mare with gorgeous dapples in the summer.

3rd owned - stunning brown mare with minimal white

4th owned - a very pink bay roan.

Current - my lovely grey and white Samuel who's dapple grey patches are sadly starting to fade :(

Mine have mostly been chestnut mares. I have had three of those. Two skewbald geldings. One dark brown gelding. Oh and three bays too, two mares one gelding. And a bay roan gelding. I think that is everybody!

I had when I was younger a grey (white) section B mare, then a bright bay gelding.

Now I have a Dapple/flea bitten grey mare (changes by the day), a chestnut mare and my surprise foal who still isn't quite sure what colour he wants to be when he grows up, but either dark brown/bay or black.

Only ever had one horse and he is kind of half dapple grey but turning white. He does have some odd small brown spots over his head and shoulders then black spots over his back end but they aren't big. The brown ones just look like freckles on his face.

RachK89 they are what is known as being 'flea bitten' Lost of grey ponies have them and end up 'flea bitten grey'

I think someone else on here said it was more blood marks than flea bitten. There isn't enough really to be classed as flea bitten and some spots are bigger than others. Cant explain why they are black on his quarters though.
