Well, I didn't like Barbies as a child. PF IS my dress-up doll now and I'm not ashamed to admit it!

I'm a lover of pink too... but I don't dress my horse like barbie doll lol
at least I don't think I do (pink leadrope and a few pink and baby blue jewels on his browband etc) but I don't care neither.
But horses are not colour blind, they can see a degree of colour but not a huge selection, so the experts say and I do beleive this, as there has been a few examples of how they can see the difference of colour with some of the horses on our yard.
However, I doubt they mind what colour you put on them, I think its all down to personal choice, if you like it then buggar everyone else...just do it girl!
ETS...oops forgot to say my entire grooming kit is pink (all the funky brushes etc) why...well at least no one else on the livery yard borrows them or nicks em...they'd be too
