As title, really struggling to come up with a colour for him. These pic's haven't come out that well but might give you an idea.
He does have a grey/bay/brown nose but the rest of his face is very dark with flecks in it, very dark around his eyes. His backside is grey (not bare of hair I might add!), his limbs will be very dark. There is quite a lot of grey in his tail too. I'm borderline thinking maybe steel grey or blue roan but am very prepared to be wrong! Until we're sure, can't really do his passport so wish he'd hurry up and lose his baby coat like Freddy has done, there's no mistaking his colour!
Not to be left out, Freddy is beating his drum too, nothing is safe from him! They are not left out in that bare patch I might add; in the mornings they are in the fenced off bottom of the hay field then are put on the railway line for the afternoon as there is shade around the corner for them. You can see their coats are sweaty where they were asleep and Harry has a flower in his hair too just to show his feminine side!!

I read this before looking through your pics. It sounded very odd - as if you put them on the main London line or something. I imagine them grazing the edges while the 125's hurtle past them !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry don't know about colour but they are lovely foals.

I know what you mean! Luckily, the Tattenhall - Whitchurch line only had a couple of dozen trains all day and was one of Mr Beeching's closures in the 60's. Just as well as it runs just behind the house!

Glad you like my babies!

bit disappointed you're not going to say he will be a definite colour though, depending on you lot for help and ideas!
