What colour is this horse?

I'm watching Myth Hunters about 'The lost ship of the Mojave Desert' and it's one of the prospectors from the 1800's.

That programme made me laugh - the horse was coming and going with the actor and it made me wonder if the original chap kept dragging the same animal out on his little jaunts.

Looks flea bitten grey to me. Too dark around the eyes and speckly for perlino. But the picture is very blurred.

It could just be a normal grey - a lot of the Spanish horses end up with that hue to their mane and tails as a result of the red mud/sand

He's not grey as has mottled skin, but its a pic off a laptop as i downloaded all the Myth Hunter seasons.
