I'd be inclined to say Skewbald purely because of the white patches- the one on belly and (withers?)
I'd also go with Buckskin sabino as the most likely. What colour were the sire and dam?
Not that I'm an expert seeing as I've posted ask what colour my filly is lol.... id be another to say buckskin sabino too.. he is very handsome though![]()
Is that his only white area? I thought to class as a coloured the white had to appear above the stifle level, but am ready to stand corrected.
He's lovely
What does it say on his passport?
Brown!!
Looks a lovely horse, how big is he?
What is sabino please? My horse is very similar in colour and build his passport says he is a dun.
So clm i think your boy is lovely too![]()
Sabino is a pattern that comes in many forms. In its minimal form, it only manifests itself as small socks and a star or blaze, if that. More extreme sabinos will have white patches, often with roaned edges, creeeping up their sides from the underside of the belly. The most extreme sabinos will look entirely white or nearly so, often retaining a few patches of color along their toplines, particularly on the ears or in the mane.
I don't see bay roan as a possibility at all.
