Hello you lovely lot.

I am going to start doing some riding horse classes with my baby - apparently she is the type for it (I am an eventer, but I think all experiences are good for a baby so any chance to get her in a show ring is beneficial) and for coloured classes, to show to type she needs to be presented as a riding horse.

So, she has a very delicate head and is piebald... What colour would look good on her?

Not a colour that I particularly like on horses, but I would put her in RED! Recently I have been to some shows and have watched the ridden horse classes, there's one lady that rides a black horse and she has a red browband, and the red really looks great against the horses black face xx :D

I'd also agree with red, you can get some really nice ones, I'd probably stick with the one colour though as shes piebald :) Theres so many around, I always want to buy all of them when I look!! :)

Hey. For coloured classes I would wear tweed jacket and just a plain havanna bridle - no colours or diamonte!! For ridden horse etc I would say maybe red and navy, or maybe dark green and gold? Anything that looks pretty! ;)

Thank you for your comment, but she is very fine and hence has to be shown to type, which for her is a riding horse (verging on hack). Hence the coloured browband is necessary.

I have seen a lovely cream and red one (with a bit of bling!) which I thing will suit... Or I might look for a birhgter plain red one... humm... decisions decisions!!!

Thanks all!
