I've just been looking at showjackets as I need a new one to show with this season!

Just wondered what colour I should go for when showing my reg. NF?

Will be more likely showing in-hand most of the season with the possibility of a bit of ridden showing towards the end of the season if he's confident enough to do so (we have had problems before but we'll put that by the by!)

I have a nice jacket that I was bought a few years ago (when I was about 15) that I really like and if I can will show in it again! It's a kinf of light blue with purple tint checked one!

Any help would be good!

I'd get a nice wool hacking jacket then you can do ridden showing, and hunter classes if you fancy. (then convince someone - parents in my case- that you really need a posh blue one too when you've won lots. Say you've earned it!!!)

You'll never go wrong with a green tweed.

There are some lovely ones if you look on the showing websites such as pretty Ponies, Designer Browbands etc.

As your pony is M&M I would definitely go for a hacking jacket in green or brown. Even for in hand classes! You dont have to wear a jacket for in hand though. But you should wear a hat!

Thanks everyone!

The jacket I do have is tweed but it kind of has a blue/grey/purple tint to it. I've worn that showing before and I do so love it as it was brough for me as a gift when I first started showing by YO (the one I am now back with almost 5 years later!!)

But I shall look into a new one and see if I can afford it!
