What colour tack

OK we've taken the plunge and are getting my boys a ponio!!! He's a dapple grey/iron grey, so now, what colour tack should we get, he'll be doing all lead rein, showing and eventually first ridden and jumping competitions etc.....

Yep agree, black for a grey every time.

Brown if you want to show at any serious level.

I usually prefer brown but I prefer black on a grey.

I always like black in a grey, but if you plan on showing only brown is acceptable

Brown. I used to use black on my grey but it looks too stark on them. I now have brown and it suits him more- had many complaints on his bridle on him even though design was Same as old one lol. Plus more traditional for showing

Although I prefer black, I have seen a quite light brown on an iron/ dapple grey and it looked very smart, so if you're going to show him then brown would probably be your best bet!
