What colour tie? (showing question)

I'm going to my first show of the year this Sunday, and I can't find my tie so I'm probably going to have to get a new one, but I don't know what colour to go for. My tweed jacket is dark green with dark red checks and a lighter green collar. My old tie was dark red but to be honest Im not sure if it looked any good! Any suggestions?

I wear a green tie with yellow spots with my green tweed jacket, I also have a yellow shirt.
Could be worth seeing if that looks ok?

Try ebay - I got a lovely bright red with yellow squares silk tie - not a mark on it for 99p last year which goes really well with my yellow shirt and brown tweed.

Dark green or red with gold would look nice with a cream/ yellow shirt with a green tweed or you could try a brighter red to stand out.

Designer browbands do some lovely ties and are reasonably priced.

i have a burghundy tie with yellow griffons on it. love it to bits looks very classy with my green tweed.
