What colour tweed?

I have a strawberry roan pony that I'd like to show with, he has brown tack, what colour tweed would look best with him?
Also is it acceptable for me to wear long boots? Or do I have to wear short?

Personally I really like green tweeds and they tend to go with pretty much any colour of horse.

Long boots - depends on your ponies breed and size and your age. Strictly speaking over 16yos wear long boots, under short. Large breed natives wear long boots, smalls always short, show/show hunter pony short until you get to Intermediates, cobs long.
