what colour would you say my boy is ?

I have no idea!! He is lovely though kind of looks like a roan type thing to me, especially in the ones in the stable but the ridding ones show quite alot of white so maybe some type of skewbald roan?!!
 
Def not strawberry roan. Not up on colour genetics but i know for sure someone will come on here & say something like a loudly marked sabino (i think i just made that up lol) or something like that lol! Whatever colour he is hes a lovely boy :)
 
He is a sabino possible splash white carrier he will have pink skin under his white hair this makes him skewbald but he also may be Dominant white does he have any TB in him

Blagdon IS sabino.

He may also have tobiano looking at the more solid white up his hindquarters.

Skewbald is correct.

Sorry do you mean Heartbreaker and if so which one breed? and you say no warmblood but then you say by a warmblood mare do you mean out of a warmblood mare and if so how is she bred is your horse on sports horse data or allbreeds would need the names of your sire and dad to be able to tell you what gene colour wise are involved.
as many have said blagdon is Sabino your horses white is on the inside of his legs which is indicative of a Overo traight not tobiano although your horse has white over his topline.
Roan tends not to have a wide blae bottom heavy with white jaw but splash white dose. from the top of my head I would still go splash/sabino mix you have a doubled gene horse.

Totally agree with Yorkshire dumpling. He is a blagdon roan. I used to have one very similar in colouring although she was a lot heavier.
What does it say in your passport?
 
If the Heartbreaker is the one Angrove highlighted then a very quick search through his pedigree, going back to the TB influence, reveals Bend Or is in there a number of times. The Tetrarch is also there, who although thought to be sabino-overo, in recent days has been claimed to have displayed the dominant white gene. Birdcatcher is also in there. So just this speedy check has already shown that it isn't surprising your horse has some sort of DW, rabicano or sabino-overo genetic pattern going on. To be absolutely sure, you would need to send away to have a colour-genetic DNA done.
 
The link was very imformative and useful for thoes who seem to think there is Appy responsible for this patten, but as Yorkshire dumpling has posted some great photos you can plain see they are not appy.
And as Spring Feather rightly points out Hearbreaker plus his dam and sire go back to TBs
and it is thought that some of the genes responible for colour have a dosage effect ie dam 25% mated with sire 15% progeny would possible collectively be 40% and display white hight on legs broad bottom heavy blaze white shim possible white marks above the stifle

I only quickly checked the tail female line of Heartbreaker, from Uppercut's ancestors backwards in history. I'm sure if we were to check each individual bloodline then there will be other TBs who are throw-backs to unusually coloured TBs. These colours can often skip generations and in many cases the genetic colouring can be missed completely. Because of the limits on colour standards within the TB registry, many horses were registered incorrectly so unless you know the actual horses names who were throwers of colour, you could be misled to thinking that because they are historically registered as bay or chestnut that they are solid bays and chestnuts, this often was not the case. Going back to the tail female line, there are many colour-producers in there so as said previously, it is no surprise to see their names in this horses pedigree.
