In the first she looks like a mouse dun, I had one, (or what we used to call a mouse dun, I stand to be corrected) but looking at the others I am not sure that she doesn't look as if she is going to grey out.

I am sure the Highland experts will know for sure.

I do like Highlands, one of my favourite Natives.:)

lol heres a few more of ella and she is slowly loosing weight not sure if people can tell from pics near are target weight ready for Bath and West on friday!

She is meant to be a mouse dun thats what her passport said, her face is graying out but her body is still dun hopefully she stays dun as the other one in pic is my other grey highland and have a grey shetland so dont want another grey to keep clean!

Definitely a Dun, she has the dorsal stripe and leg & shoulder barring :)
& the fact she's a Highland.
She looks to be black + dun which is called grulla, slate dun, or most commonly mouse dun.
I don't see gray however.

Dun. However, if she does gray out then she may keep her dorsal stripe as my boy is bay and has a dorsal stripe, not very common but her stripe is very prominent :)

She has just turned 2 she def is not bay! Her body is dun but her face is greying out highland society class as mouse dun her mum is grey dad a dun so hopefully she will stay a type of dun.

intresting most of you all say mouse dun thats what passport says however as you can see she has grey on her as well so hopefully she will not grey out too much!

I'd say grey dun, the same as my boy, he was very similar at two years old. She looks too light for mouse dun to me. It is so hard to determine what colours these highlands are, everyone I've talked to seems to have a slightly different idea of what the colours mean. Some people would, I think, call her cream dun!

This is Col at 2:

She looks bay dun in some pics and black dun in others, so not sure. One of those anyway. Doesn't look like she's going grey to me, but not always easy to tell. A genetic test for grey and agouti would answer your questions if you really wanted to know :)
