my pony is 2 years old and was born bay with a white stripe now she is grey with flecks and dots and dashes of every colour u can think of bay roany , brown and reddy ?

What colour do you think ?

Shes a pretty girl! I think she might just be a rose grey underneath the fluff. What colour was her dad and what breed is he? M.

Don't all greys start off bay

I think so anyway. She may continue to get lighter and lighter

Yes she looked a bit strawberry roany to me. Trouble with these sorts of colours is that you can't really tell what the pony will be like until it is further matured. My ex-stallion is a tri-coloured bay roan. He is becoming more roany as the years go on but he used to look just bay, black and white.

I was leading him out the other day and my husband didn't even recognise him as he is so grey right now.

awww, shes pretty. She looks sorta dun there lol. She might turn out a roan probs, maybe a bluey roan or summet, its really hard to predict lol

Do strawberry roans have dorsal strips? I would have thought she was a dun as her legs look like they might be dark.
