What colours?

Going shopping this weekend for new horsey - he is a golden dun with 4 white stockings and a white face. I was thinking blue - any other ideas?

I had purple on my golden dun, she looked v pretty!

Fudge is dun with a white face and four white stockings too

He was in purple when I brought him, very nice but not really suitable for a gelding, so now he's in baby blue and navy blue which suits him fine

I think navy, dark green or burgandy.

Heres my dun in a burgandy exercise cart and has a navy headcollar on-

oh he is lovely, having seen him I would say white, to match his white legs!

This is my old mare and I found that white looked super!

Purple was nice to but for hacking etc, when we wanted to look posh it was white!

Sp what are you going to do with him, werent you looking for an arab to do endurance with?

my horse is light dun not gold really yellow ! black really complements them maybe that is abit sensible for pony though! x

White looks very nice, I like that a lot. Would have to work hard to keep it clean though!!
I was looking for an Arab but all the ones I tried were unsuitable - then I went to see Banjo and fell for him! He's perfect for what I want to do, and takes everything in his stride - even JCB's on busy roads - perfect!!!

Natural sheepskin half numnah would look lush, or a brown sheepskin numnah to go with the saddle. Brown or cream. But if your looking for colour, navy, bottle green or burgundy should also look nice!

With that coloured horse you could pick any number of colours & they'd all look great.....Navy Blue, Burgundy, Bottle Green...the list is endless....

I miss him so much already and hes only been gone a week.

he was advertised as 15.2hh but I think he's more like 16hh. May have to get the measuring stick out! He has a low back but high withers so he looks smaller than he is! Can't wait for him to arrive!!

Heres a picture of Fudge, you can't really see his stockings though as his legs are dirty or the white patch on his belly.

He is meant to be a Welsh D (cob type) but I think theres a bit of Highland in there somewhere.
He's not as golden or as big as your horse

Dun has got to be my favourite colour

Just re-reading your post, his name is Banjo, I think I saw him advertised and thought how gorgeous he was and how lovely he sounded, lucky you I hope you have loads of fun together.
