What could cause this? barefoot old pony

yes my old pony also did this.

this was the day i had her PTS. she was a longstanding chronic laminitic, however had not had an attack for 5 years until last year. she had rotation and dropped in all 4 and had lost sole concavity.

Digitalangel was the chronic lami the diagnosis for the way she weight bared through her fetlocks?

I've had this pony 18 year and he's never been lame or had lami. His foot that looks really long is as far as I know his foot shape, about 4 or 5 months ago I overhauled how and what I fed my horses so now I think his feet are growing at a better angle (i think you can make out half way down the hoof where the diet change is) which is making his feet look even more long than they actually are.
