Just had a thought. It would take a few hours to get him on the lorry, so bang goes that idea.
To be fair to him, he does have respect for electric fencing and that is what we are going to sort out in the field for him. Just waiting to hear from YO about what to do.

Shame you are not a TB person - I have 2 that would suit!

Perhaps I should get out there and try out some different horses!!! I think I have been a bit tunnel visioned??
I spose I have steered clear in the past as I have always been too heavy to think about getting on one!!
I will bear you in mind... when I am seriously looking!
You don't want that naughty Mac - have you heard what he has been up to?
Fancy a little pikey horse? He is driving us mad at the moment with his fetish for finding wood from the pile of "useful bits" YO keeps in the school and destroying them. So used to loud noises that nothing stops him apart from going and chasing him - keeping me fit as it is the opposite end of the school to the stables.
You could get a reasonable solid coloured gypsy horse if you know where to look or a green heavy horse if you fancied keeping to the big chaps.

sorry to sound dim but I was told that you couldn't get a pure thoroughbred that was coloured? obviously this isn't true as you have one but you just don't see that many about
