Big rubber mallet for breaking the ice on the water trough, better than a boot and no fear of going though to gain a boot full of water.

I once left my mares clips outwards and when I came down in the morning she was clipped onto her haynet!! Poor Lill!!

With regards to the winter id have to say, the heated windscreen on my car, my fleace lined waterproof trousers, my full length muck boots (it has to be at least -1 for your feet not to be so hot there sweaty!!) and my earwarmers!!
