We did bugger all as the boy had a nasty cut in the field - right along his girth line! So he was swollen and miserable all weekend.

Anyone show etc? x

Took Moomin6 and my horse to a local hunter trial, first time for both of them , but they were placed at 8th

..which made a very wet and miserable day all worth while, although I think she was on enough of a high about just getting round and over all the jumps

Aww, hope hes better soon.

I went SJ on saturday, had dressage lesson on sunday and did some writing for the judge at affiliated dressage yesterday. In all had quite a good weekend

Stood in the rain calling 2 dressage tests for a friend (plus the usual coat holder, gate opener, etc.).

Hacked my horse for the 1st time in a week around the xc course as I have been off with a bad back. He was a little too fresh for how I was feeling.

poor geegee ...

Well we went to a small local charity show where my son who is 2 yrs old got 3rd in lead rein

and my eldest whos 6 got 3rd in games and drew 4th in junior jumping . Got abit of a soaking later on that day but glad it stayed dry for their classes .

Had a lovely schooling session with Chloe on Sat and jumped Meg round a small course.
Hacked out sunday and monday as my mum has to get fit enough to hack 7 miles (each-way) so I can do some dressage in a fortnight

Will Ty be ok to ride again soon?

A sponsored ride that went SO well

And I managed to stay quite dry, thanks to a dry-to-the-bone barbour

Hope Ty gets better soon, poor lad!

Saturday spoilt my kids rotten on a trip to Toys R Us and then blubbed watching eldest one in riding lesson, he is coming on so well

Then off to cinema and nandos. Yummy.
Sunday lazy day lie in and then pub lunch and chill out at home and try to remain calm because.....

on Monday I got my gorgeous new horsey

Horrid weather to collect him so was glad had lorry instead of trailer. He loaded first time and is an absolute angel.

I do not want to be at work today I want to be at the yard playing with my new pony. It's even possible I could out bounce KJJ right now.

Sounds like a right mixture!

Yeah, should be able to ride tonight - it's scabbing up nicely - just have to get fluffy girth sleeve out. If it hurts I'm sure he'll let me know ;-)

We got wet!!!!!!!!!!!

Satuday - Donkey loaded first time and we went off to the woods for a play - she loves following hubby on his mountain bike, jumped a small log and ate burgers while she grazed! Did not want to load for me coming home, so hubby took over - she went straight in for him - he's calling himself Monty these days

Sunday - had a lesson in driving rain - perfect half pass across the school, unasked for!!!!!!!!! Have managed to work out my personal show peice

Monday - was supposed to go to a show, but how could I wash my beloved Donkey in cold water in this weather and then stand around in a field freezing? So I spent the day sealing bathroom tiles instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday I did some SJ practise round a small course - tres fun seen as the boy hadn't been ridden in 4 days!

Monday I went for a fab 3 hour hack over the mountains, it was stunning! xx

went to BSPS Lancs champs on saturday at myerscough 2nd in RHIS PBA class lost by 2 points but got cherif qualifier, out on Monday NPS 5 at myerscough, 2nd HOYS qualifier for SHP very strong class of 21, very fed up when looked at mark sheet, 1 point from 1st, not to worry we will carry on chasing.

Rode Lola around the track with foal in tow.

Lola was brilliant, especially considering that she's 16 now, has spent her entire adult life producing foals and has only had (so I was told) 30 days training. Just popped a bridle on and hopped on (she has a bony back

), Bless her, she really doesn't have much of a clue, but was so good, so I think I will be making a real effort with her this summer.

Took my daughter and her pony to their first show! Was very cold but they had a great time and came home with a red ribbon.(Pics in gallery). Only trouble now is that she has caught the bug and wants to go again!!

Got very very wet at a combined training on Sunday. Ponio was very annoyed but behaved considering! Horrid weather. He had yesterday off!!

Stewarded at Herts county both sat and sun so got totally drenched but got to see lots of nice hosses.

Didn't ride at all as was totally knacked after that and Jim hates the wind and rain so he stayed in his stable for two days!!!
