I took L out in the lorry to do some schooling and show jumping, he was a star (see post in PG

), had loads of fun and now can't wait to do it again!!

my YO jumped my horse is the 80cm speed class and he was fab but had a pole down and yesterday i did my firsr novice dressage!!

Spent a productive day in the sun (yes I definately saw some) tidying the muck heap, chopping down bramble that was growing wild over the wall and painting the hay shed.
Not bad at 25 weeks pregnant I thought, shattered now though.

I sat around in my pyjamas for most of the morning, then got dressed and took the dogs out on a looong walk, then came home to have steak pie and chips and watch Dorian Gray with a tub of chocolate ice cream.

I promise I'm not always this lazy!

I joined in with one of OH's lessons, thanks to his very obliging clients for allowing this!
Actually got to jump the H bomb for the first time in ages, really enjoyed it, saw a big improvement from beginning to end.
But now sat on the sofa feeling really rough, daughter has kindly passed on her nasty cough and cold.

i had a lovely hack on my ponio. the past 5 months he's been a nightmare, getting over excited before cantering. i've been working very hard on calming him down and regaining control. today was the 3rd ride out in a row that he walked half way through a field, a little on edge, but under control, before i took off the brakes and let him have a blast!!! so wonderful feeling all round. i love my boy like no other!! and now i'm washing his rug to make him look all sexy again!

Mucked out deep litter bed, spent time combing through horses tails and let them have turnout without rugs in the sunshine, then made some cakes for when hubs came home from work lol

Valentine's Day - today? Oh yea, so it was

Thats the trouble with being single, it sort of passes you by!

Today I had a really good go at the yard, tidied, swept back the beds as it was so sunny, did the muckheap! and had a good sort out.

Cleaned out the hen house, cleaned the car (inside and out), cleaned out the kennel, did the housework and drove miles ferrying the children to and fro to various places!

Now just opened a nice bottle of red and waiting for Desperate Housewives to start - oh what an exciting life I lead!

went SJing @ local eq. centre.........just a little class as my boy as only just come back into work, had a few scary moments including nearly falling off but got a double clear so very happy.

Charmaine18 - did you enjoy Dorian Gray? I watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was brilliant.

Today I fed and snogged my field-resting pony, went a walk around the bridle paths with my friend and her dog, went to see my parents and washed my car while I was there, came home, cooked dinner and am now waatching the Antiques Roadshow.

I went to see my neddy who has just gone on sales livery, seemed a bit tucked up but he's not even been there 48 hrs yet so I'm sure he'll settle in. Now I'm getting prepared for new job starting tomorrow. Oh, and I've just deleted 565 emails which feels GREAT!!

I took our JRT to a dog training class for an hour this morning which went quite well, then went to tack shop, got there 5mins after closing
frown.gif
but she was just locking up and told me to run in and get what i wanted
grin.gif
, i go there very often.
Then this afternoon i had a lesson which went very well
smile.gif

so overall a good day, didn't see OH though as he is 3hours away.

I took my girly out to RC dressage today - only her 4th ever show - doing a W&T test - and we came 1st with 67.8% - our best score yet!! And we got a second rosette for best turned out in our class too!!

Then she spent the rest of the day zzzzz-ing in the sunshine in the field!

This afternoon I mostly was admiring my 2 rosettes

Made hubby coffee in bed and gave him his card - done my duty so went SJ. Did 3 classes, with 3 double clears and placed in each, so bought hubby carrot cake on way home as a treat.
Best Valentines day ever.....!

Mucked out, had a ride in the school and then went to see Monty Roberts in the afternoon.

Loved the Western Riding display, superb little horse called 'Coffee' he was absolutely amazing - could turn on a sixpence.

Halfway through turned to OH and said, oh by the way 'Happy Valentines' - to which he replied 'oh, is it today?' - ha ha!!! obviously we've been married a while

I rode out first thing, as I went hunting yesterday so just wanted to have a pootle today. We had a fab canter round the downs, which got a bit out if control at one point, but came home feeling very jolly and ache-free! Then me and hubby went clothes shopping and had a pizza for lunch, yum! Perfect day!

Rode the TB first (well, second
wink.gif
) thing, cleaned out the trailer, then had to go on an emergency trip to the tack shop as the TB snapped his reins and we are XC schooling tomorrow (which I would kinda like some reins for
grin.gif
) came home, cleaned various parts of house (a bit less enthusiastically than I did the trailer) did 2 and a half HOURS
shocked.gif
of chemistry revision...then came on here and facebook

In the morning I took my friend out on her mare who she has not ridden for a year while I led her 7month foal just up the bridle track, as she needs to get back in the saddle and get the filly seeing the world.
I then went out for a short solo hack this afternoon, it was wonderful. I was fairly nervous but Seren was good as gold, think my legs were trembling the whole way round the route we did, but we did it.
Then the usual chores of washing ect before the week ahead

Went with my instructor dressaging with his youngster who behaved impeccably! I wish my mare behaved as good as his 4YO. He got 67% and came 5th out of 19 competitors too! After that I lunged my mare and put her to bed. Cant ride at the mo cuz her abscess came back under her chin! Vet is coming out tomorrow and will probably want her to go to the clinic for xrays.
