Its Barneys first xmas with us (second officially but i was in hospital last year so xmas was cancelled :() and he has absolutly loved it! Hes unwrapped a bone, toys and treats and hes so happy bless him.
We had a slight problem last week when he found his present and unwrapped it but i managed to keep a few hidden!

Am i really sad? Or do other people give their dogs presents?

Oh and pics of course! ;)

My nan bought them a whole lamb breast each so they've spent the morning chomping on those. Now they've been dispatched to MIL's who will doubtless have filled them a stocking each full of annoying squeaky things that won't last five minutes. :D

Pip had all her presents wrapped which she unwrapped like a pro & then all our paper to rip too she loved it. It's her first christmas too & think she's wondering why today is extra fun!

Spoilt rotten by me, family, other half & friends! She's had 3 me to you bear Christmas pudding tennis balls, 2 new Kong wubbers, a tangle ball, a rabbit, squeaky duck & a stocking of treats which she's not allowed because of colitus but she had the rope toy lol.

Lol! Love that picture its exactly what Barney looked like this morning :D
Barn got a squeaky ball, squeaky hot dog, rubber bone, bone, treats and a stocking!

tyson got a chewy bone which supposedly encourages chewing without falling apart. It lasted him 5 minutes. He also got a treat ball thing with treats which he also destroyed in less than 10 mins. We also got him a ball and ball thrower thing which he hasn't been allowed yet. I'm hoping that will last him a little bit longer!

Mine Gsp got a soft toy duck, my boxer a coat but had it early. We also got them a stocking full of treats.
One woman at the yard got them doggie chocolates, some bones and another woman got them bones. Spoilt rotten.

Slightly bigger bones than usual :p I'm all heart, me.

In fairness the pup does get a bomb spent on him all year and the poor big dog got a nice trip to the vets on Friday, painkilling injection, anti-inflamatories, ear de-waxer, more bloody Malaseb shampoo and a couple of weeks of box rest and on-lead walking only, oh JOY!!!

My boys got a lovely new doggie duvet to share in front fo the fire:D:D so far so good they are taking it in turns to sleep on it although it is big enough for both of them....:D:D:D

I also bought them a selection of chewy stick - the mahooooosive variety:D which are being hidden at strategic points around the garden:D:D:D

Sweep is trying to work out how to break into the jar of Thorntons toffee:rolleyes: even though it definitely had my name on it........;):D

Little dog (terrier) has a "indestructable" (LOL) rubber chew/plaything; knawing on it at the mo so will keep posted as to its "indestructability".

Both dogs will have a pigs ear to chew on later on when we're all thoroughly rat-@rsed; plus at lunchtime they had some cuttings off the turkey which was much appreciated.

Last night/this morning first thing: the cats caught two mice - so I guess that was their Xmas present to themselves. Clever pussies!.

My Dobes got nothing, they did have extra pigs ears but donated it to 7 homeless dogs. My daughter works at a homeless shelter and they do take dogs in there and she said it was so sad the dogs didnt have any treats for Xmas so Diesel & Darcy in the true meaning of Xmas donated their prezzies. Darcy has had a face like a slapped arse all day because she is not so sure she had a choice in the matter.:D Still they do get lots of regular treats so it wont kill them.

well , what he got & what he was given were two slightly different things
so, given an suitably naff seasonal t-shirt & a new chewey bone - what he got was my very nice xmas packed lunch [ as i was givingh my YO a day off & working all day], so i had a festive lunch of 2 carrots & a banana:mad:
if anyone wants an asbo bedlington as a late xmas gift do let me know:D

[/QUOTE]

not only do the dogs and cats all get presents, but they give their humans presents as well in this house... sad I know. ;)

The pooch got a few toys and a new bed from us. Which he thanked us for by running round downstairs with wrapping paper in his mouth like its the best thing ever! He was also given a couple of chew sticks from friends and a minnie mouse stuffed toy (not designed for dogs) from nana. Cue me cutting the eyes, nose, bow and label off the stitching up the holes. He also got a "teeth cleaning, indestructible toy" he then proceeded to nibble the teeth cleaning nobbles off and it was promptly removed.

Betsy got her xmas outfit (obv :p) and a xmas teddy thing to destroy. Stuffed toys are usually banned in this house because she literally shreds them.
My mum got her some chews and a super posh blanket :o OH's mum got her a load of chews and a squeaky thing that will be convieniently lost...

Betsys name was on everybodys present :)

Cookie got 2 pig ears but Rory felt left out so she got one *rolls eyes*
Rory got a squeaky teddy bear (started to play tuggy with cookie and then died in 10minutes and had to undergo an operation which Rory over saw!) a squeaky christmas pudding, and some little chews and choccy drops.
Flossie got a massive bone (hopefully will last a little longer than others!) a big ball and a squeaky christmas cracker!

As you can imagine, once these were all open the house was filled with lots of squeaking from the squeaky toys!!! Floss most enjoys walking endlessly round the kitchen squeaking her toy over and over and over.....

Sam got a new bed, a selection of treats, a squeaky ball, a rope toy, a kong wubba, a squeaking squirrel, some liver, a rope ball.

I then took him to my mums to play and he decided that since it ws christmas, he was allowed in the pond.

2 squeaky ducks (one each for the brothers), a squeaky cracker for big dog, lots of Pedigree treats :( from the neighbour and her sister, plus their own card!

From us, these:

They look massive but are only poussin, about 400g each.
They also got an oversize tennis ball and a mini football.

Bear ripped another nail off last week (2nd in a month :() so is again in buster collar, just as he was last Christmas with a ripped pad. Becoming a tradition!

A kong wubba each (what a mistake lol) and huuuuuuge bones. Rupert also got all the pigs in blankets....a christmas present to himself. My mum wasn't amused!

Harvey got a little Kong giraffe toy and a new coat :) He ripped open the paper, saw the toy and tried to play with it whilst it was still attached to the packaging :D Safe to say, he loves it, and it's still in tact, amazingly haha!

From us our three got two rope tuggers and three Pets At Home wooden puzzle toy thingies. I was just going to get one but then I couldn't decide which one to get as the oldest is really good at them but the middle one is a little bit lacking in problem solving ability :o

My mum and dad got them a honking pheasant (which the puppy spent most of Christmas day honking gleefully in a corner) and some posh biscuits.

Last but not least (yes, my whole family buy the dogs Christmas pressies!!) my sister, brother in law and niece got them some treats and an Air Kong ring.

It was the puppy's first Christmas and he thought it was the best thing ever. Not only did he get to shred huge amounts of paper without getting told off but there was fun stuff inside the paper to play with afterwards!!!:D

My little man was spoilt... He deserves every penny though.

Endless amounts of treats.
4 teddys, 1 huge teddy and a bear hat :p

4/5 squeeky toys, shampoo and a new t-shirt (whenever he has a bath he had a t-shirt on to dry him off ;))
