what do I use - want "white" inside new stable

I have asked on another thread but had no replies :( ... Here goes ... My boy has never been in a stable all night but loves daytime stable time when I have popped him in my friends stable at the yard - any sugestions for his 1st night !! I am cutting a big hole between stables so he can she his girl (my cob)

Looking good, you need them in this weather!

We cut a section out between our two above kick boards and replaced with vertical bars when our two youngsters arrived as one would panic if he could not see his friend. My sister had her stables built with a 'gossip', horses do like to see others and it does help calm them.

I did once see stables painted black for the bottom half and white on the top half which looked smart.
That's how my stables were in England. Black to a third high and white the rest of the two thirds. It does look lovely although mine were not wood. OP use a very good quality marine-type paint so that it weathers well. I also sealed my paint because it was on stone and not wood.
