What do people think of this noseband?

it is in English hackamore and it's too low and is also got a flash noseband with it why??

Has anyone else noticed it has a flash noseband on too? Without the bottom strap??

The only reason I could think of was the that the bridle had a comfort type headpiece where the noseband attaches to straps that are part of the head piece .
You can't use that type do bridle without a noseband .
The Hackamore is nasty way to low .

The German ones have a steel cable over the nose inside the padding and much longer shanks usually. They have a much stronger action than the English ones and can provoke extreme reactions on a horse not used to them, go very carefully! Glad you will also have the snaffle.

Hopefully it will only be for a week or so as he has a very sore mouth (actual racehorse BTW, just pulled too hard in his race which he doesn't do at home) he won't be doing much this week as I hopefully won't have to use it to its full effect. He's quite good at bobbing along, it's the jumping sideays terrorising other horses that is more the issue! :D :D :D

You can also use one of those comfort/integral bridles without a noseband - you unbuckle it, leave it somewhere so safe you haven't found it in 9 months ... And use plaiting bands to hold the spare strap down alongside the cheekpieces. I speak from experience, this is my daily work bridle lol
