I think they would be much better putting there time and effort into devloping a goose neck/mini artic trailer to go with the pick ups alot of us horsey folk have, in the states lorrys are very very rare !!!everyone has a trailer from a tiny two horse to a 40ft monster with huge and well equiped living...
It is HORRIBLY frustrating when your horse simply plants half way up a ramp. I have tried so many methods, so many "experts" and spent a small fortune in trying to crack this nut. It's had me in tears, I don't mind telling you, and I'm no wimp either. So for those of you who don't have this issue, thank your lucky stars.
Aggee and at £42K well you are in used oakley etc price and maybe a alittle change left for your HGV test!!! strange little box thingy on a crappy citreon chassis or a mobile gin palace that carrys 2/3 HmmmI saw this a couple of months ago and I really dont like it. I cant see it selling tbh.
Posibly closed because the market is tiny for euro bumper pull trailers in the US because you can get anything from a 2 horse to a big trailer with living made in the US, we have pick ups here!!! and our big horse boxes do 10 mpg the smaller 7.5 ton about 20, and the tiny ones that carry one horse about 30mpg so no reason not to tow a gooseneck here!!!Everyone has big trucks and trailers here because petrol is cheap (about 63p/liter? Am I converting that right? It's over $3.80/gallon right now)
Those big trucks get something like 10 miles per gallon towing a heavy American trailer.
What the US needs is more European style trailers! Sadly our Brenderup factory closed last year, and we can't get Ifor Williams, Richardson Rice etc trailers.
